Connor Bedard shows no signs of slowing down as the WHL season draws to a close.

The Regina Pats star had three goals and two assists in a 9-5 loss to the Moose Jaw Warriors on Friday night.

It was the eighth hat trick of the season for the 17-year-old WHL leading scorer, who now has 66 goals this season.

He will, however, have to wait at least another day to help the Pats clinch a playoff berth.

The Pats need just one point in their last four games to secure a playoff trip.

The Warriors scored six straight goals after Bedard opened the scoring to take control of the game.

Bedard received a base hit from Robert Baco after scoring his second baseman, causing a scrimmage.

The consensus No. 1 pick in this year’s NHL Draft now has nine points in his last two games.

Seattle Kraken prospect Jagger Firkus scored a hat trick for Moose Jaw.

BÉDARD’S SEASON TOTALS:53 GP, 66 G, 68 A, 134 Pts.

PATS REGISTRATION:32-28-4 (Eastern Conference Sixth)

FOLLOWING: The Pats and Warriors wrap up a home-and-away series in Moose Jaw on Saturday at 9 p.m. ET/7 p.m. MT.
