Military recruiters have faced one of the toughest years recruiting brave young men and women since the end of the Vietnam War. The the military branches claim that there are many reasons for this difficulty, from a tighter labor market to young Americans who are too fat or too dumb… literally.
These are undoubtedly valid and plausible reasons why military recruiting is weak this year. However, another possibility has been raised by Republican lawmakers – that a contributing factor to why we have a shortage of men and women willing to raise their right hands to protect and defend the Constitution is due to the “revival plaguing the ranks.
With some recent revelations from military academies and the Department of Defense branch of educationsome are finally starting to raise these issues in the media.
Unfortunately, former Pentagon press secretary John Kirby found himself on the receiving end of these questions, and his response, while not surprising, was disappointing.
But John Kirby promised me the army ain’t awake https://t.co/B9ohyEmdIA

Respect the line of the company
Now National Security Council Coordinator for Strategic Communications, John Kirby was interviewed by News Nation host Dan Abrams regarding military recruiting issues. Mr. Abrams put it bluntly:
“Some on the right have suggested that these are administration policies, right? Is it the vaccine requirement, is it the “woke politics” in the military that are making fewer people want to enlist? What do you think ?
Retired Admiral Kirby dismissed the charges, saying “there is no indication of that” and that the issue is “a false assertion”. I’m not particularly surprised by this answer.

Still, it’s hard to believe that Mr. Kirby is buying what he’s trying to sell to the American public — especially given the recent reports that have come out through the DOD.

Off We Go Into The Woke Blue Yonder
GOP lawmakers have consistently sounded the alarm about the Army’s revival training over the past few years. However, recently a diversity and inclusion training instituted at the prestigious United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs has revived these earlier concerns.
The training instructs cadets to use words that “include all genders” and to refrain from saying words like “mom” and “dad”. The PowerPoint presentation includes a slide that speaks to this point:
“Some families are led by single parents, grandparents, foster parents, two moms, two dads, etc.: consider ‘parent or guardian’ instead of ‘mom and dad'”
The slide continues by having the cadets:
“Use words that include all genders: ‘Folks’ or ‘Y’all’ instead of ‘Guys’; ‘partner’ vs ‘boyfriend or girlfriend'”
But it is not just gender inclusion that the training addresses. You can’t have diversity and inclusion training without talking about race.
The presentation tells the cadets that they are:
“Not ‘colorblind’ or ‘I can’t see color’, but Color Conscious.”
Unfortunately, this training is not unique to the military.

A worrying trend
Last year, West Point, which graduated the likes of General Ulysses Grant and General Stormin ‘Norman’ Schwarzkopf, was unveiled when news of their training titled “Understanding Whiteness and White Rage” became public knowledge. The training explained to cadets:
“In order to understand racial inequality and slavery, you must first address whiteness.”
New documents show US Army teaching CRT to cadets at West Point and discussing ‘whiteness’.

In May, a E-mail was obtained and sent to senior leaders and commanders at Andersen Air Force Base in Guam, who gave instructions when writing performance reviews and other similar documents such as award packages:
“Don’t use pronouns, age, race, etc.”
Importantly, Andresen AFB falls under the United States Pacific Air Force Command, which is responsible for, among other things, deterring Chinese aggression in the region.
Do you think the Chinese army spends even one millisecond about this nonsense?
Add to this the Navy Gender Pronouns Training Video, obligatory Army training on pronouns and training on gender transition surgery. So I think it’s safe to say that there is a prevalence of awakening in the military.
Uncle Sam wants you! …to embrace left-wing ideology
A spokesperson for the United States Air Force said in defense diversity and inclusion training:
“It’s the diversity of Airmen and Guardians from every corner of our nation who execute the Department of the Air Force’s hundreds of critical mission sets that make us the best air and space forces and most innovative the world has ever seen.”
I’m going to have to disagree with them on this. The bravery, sacrifice, courage and tenacity of airmen and, I would say, soldiers, sailors and marines made us the best, most innovative and deadliest fighting force in the world.
Unfortunately, integrating the challenge of what I call the diversity, equity and inclusion industrial complex will make us one of the weakest, most ill-prepared and least equipped fighting forces in the world. the planet.

Air Force Academy training included an exercise that separated cadets into small groups who had to write as many “G-Animals,” or better, animals whose names begin with G, as they could think of in a minute. . They are the future commanders of the US Air Force and Space Force.
My daughter does this kind of exercises for school and she is six years old. But the worst aspect of the training was the condition set:
“What’s said here, stays in this room (let’s be each other’s backs).”
A blatant attempt to silence cadets who rightly know about this type of training does the opposite of what it claims to elevate.

I never thought that I would see the light of day
Serving my country was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I loved being part of something bigger than myself, serving my country, putting that service ahead of my needs and wants and those of my family, and becoming a tough, resilient citizen through these experiences.
There are many good reasons to join the Armed Forces. I got my bachelors and masters using tuition aid and my GI bill. I have traveled the world, albeit to not so great places, but also to many amazing places like Greenland where I met my husband.

However, with two children of mine, my daughter in particular, who looks up to me and wants to be a soldier when she grows up, just like mom, I’m not sure I would want to support either of them for join the army like their mother and father did. There are almost as many reasons not to join the list below; just a few I could think of:
I’m sorry to say, Mr. Kirby; this only 9% of the population wants to serve is indeed partly due to “enlightenment”. No denial from you or other senior military officials will change that.
“I want to understand white rage. And I’m white.
