President Biden turned the tables on Republicans by calling them socialists for voting against the infrastructure bill and then asking for the money.
Video:
President Biden said:
CNN who says Republicans call socialism Biden’s infrastructure agenda. And then they ask for money. It goes through all the Republicans that the most conservative Republicans call socialism, and how they ask for it. There’s a guy called Paul Gosar. He wrote three separate letters to the administration asking for projects in his district. He says it has improved the quality of life, boosted the economy. – says that everything is socialism.
At the bottom of the list is Kentucky Rep. Andy Barr, the biggest socialist agenda. Three different projects, he wants. Citing the importance of safety and growth in his district.
Rand Paul, I’m going down the list. Look for it. Socialism. I didn’t know there were so many Socialist Republicans. Think about it. I’m serious. Let’s be serious about taking care of ordinary people. People, listen, you can’t make this stuff up. You have to say, I have to say, I was surprised to see so many socialists in the Republican caucus. People, here’s the bottom line. The Republicans are taking control of Congress, the victories of which we are one for the American people. They will be removed.
Republicans are socialists. By their own definition, Republicans want to give government resources to the wealthy and corporations and make working people and the poor pay by raising taxes. Republicans believe in socialism, by their definition, not the real definition of socialism. The difference is that they want socialism for the rich.
President Biden and Democrats are using GOP attacks against them. Turns out, Republicans love government money in their districts to build new roads, bridges, and schools.
Biden will make sure voters know who the real socialists are as the Republican attack backfires.
