The 6-foot-5, 275-pound prospect has already made unofficial saves at all three schools, so his upcoming June officials will play a vital role in his college decision.
Clemson (June 2) will get its first official, followed by Wisconsin (June 9) and cap the month with a trip to the home state program, Tennessee (June 23).
O’Connell details what stands out from each program below.
CLEMSON: “What stands out about Clemson is their winning tradition and their consistency in placing players in the NFL.”
WISCONSIN“Wisconsin has a great campus and has put countless offensive linemen into the NFL year after year.”
TENNESSEE: “I like Tennessee because of its electric fan base, its coaches and the fact that it’s in the state.”
O’Connell is currently ranked 29th offensive tackle in the nation and 7th prospect at Tennessee State.
