Voly Group, the parent company of the UK headquarters Voly Musicappointed Christian Berthelsen, CTO and member of the founding team of Fourth, as non-executive director.
According to Voly, Berthelsen has an “impressive growth track record” in SaaS businesses, having taken Fourth from a SME in 2003 to a major hospitality software company with over 1,000 employees.
Described by Voly as a “software innovator” and businessman, Berthelsen developed web applications and inventory control solutions at FnBshop.com, a private SaaS company he co-founded and sold to Fourth in 2003. .
With over 25 years of software engineering and management experience, Berthelsen oversees the product roadmap, development and infrastructure of all software.
Voly Group’s subsidiary, Voly Music, entered the music industry in 2021, offering its customers a specialized financial management platform, with integrated prepaid Mastercard and FX payment functionalities.
The company works with artist management companies, live music promoters, tour operators, business leaders, among other stakeholders, and industry sectors.
Voly says the financial management platform has been “well received” by the music industry, “with many global artists and their business leaders using the platform to track their touring expenses. promoters using Voly to automate their nightly reconciliations.
Voly also says that Voly Music’s “growth force” in the US market is at the “front and center” of its plans, as are automated integrations into other proprietary financial systems that will allow Voly Music data to be introduced. in products like Xero and QuickBooks for example.
In addition to Voly Music, Voly Group is also the parent company of financial management software and card payment provider Voly Yachting, which has enjoyed success in the yachting industry since its launch in 2016.
Recently, Voly Group acquired Pinpoint Works, another software company that provides interactive worklist management solutions to the marine and hospitality industry.
