Electric trucks struggle to hit the road. Last week we saw how electric trucks take days to charge for a four-hour journey. Today, we find that a manufacturer is recalling “almost all the vehicles” it has manufactured.
The Daily mail reported last night:
Electric truck and SUV maker Rivian Automotive is recalling nearly all vehicles due to loose fasteners that could potentially affect drivers’ ability to drive.
The company, which was founded in 2009, said it was recalling around 13,000 cars because a fastener connecting the front upper control arm and the vehicle’s steering knuckle may not have been tight enough.

There have been seven reports potentially related to the issue, but no injuries have been reported, Rivian said of his third recall notice this year.
Last week we learned that it takes four days to reload some trucks for a four hour trip.
Breitbart reported:
A YouTuber recently demonstrated that buyers of GMC’s new electric Hummer clear their calendars better if the truck runs out of battery. The video he produced demonstrated that when the $80,000+ electric vehicle (EV) is plugged into a regular household outlet, it takes more than four days to fully charge. A special 240 volt charger still takes a full day to charge the vehicle.
Salty Cracker had the following to say about GM trucks taking days to load (warning language – but hilarious and brilliant):
