Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton suggested to Senator Dianne Feinstein to not resign due to her age and frail health as Democrats must continue to support her in order to confirm President Biden’s judicial nominees.
Clinton’s comments, which essentially mimic the plot of Weekend at Bernie’scame in an interview with Time.com reporter Charlotte Alter.
Alter asked about Feinstein, who has been a politician since 1969 and has missed dozens of Senate votes since being hospitalized with shingles. Many lawmakers on both sides of the aisle have been asking for his resignation. Clinton disagrees, but only for political reasons.
“Here’s the dilemma: Republicans won’t agree to add someone else to the Judiciary Committee if she retires,” she explained. “If we want the judges confirmed, which is one of the most important ongoing obligations we have, we cannot afford to leave his seat vacant.”
Clinton continued, “All these people pushing her to retire: Alright, so no more judges? I don’t think that’s a good compromise.
Hillary Clinton defended her friend and former colleague, Senator Dianne Feinstein, saying Feinstein’s resignation would not be “worth the trade-off” when it comes to judicial appointments. https://t.co/b6mFoPMsKu

Clinton: We need Feinstein
I’m not sure about our readers, but it seems absolutely appalling to me that Clinton would want to continue supporting Feinstein in the Senate, regardless of his health, just to get the justices confirmed. But then, she’s a soulless borderline witch.
How bad are things for the California senator? Well, it’s hard to say.
Reports have now surfaced indicating that the staff actively tries to “hide her wheelchair” from journalists and even go so far as to form a “human barrier between her and the press corps”.
Why would they hide it from the press? Because the woman Hillary Clinton wants to keep confirming justices and voting for wouldn’t even remember she was out of the Senate for three months.
“What did they think of your return?”
FEINSTEIN: “No, I didn’t leave. You should follow the… I didn’t leave. I worked.”
“Working from home, that’s what you say?”

“I haven’t left,” Feinstein told a Los Angeles Times reporter after being away for a while. “You should…I didn’t leave.” I worked.”
“You worked from home, is that what you say?” asked the reporter.
“No, I’ve been here. I voted. Please know or don’t know,” Feinstein continued.
JUST IN: Hillary Clinton says Dianne Feinstein shouldn’t quit.
Clinton said Republicans would not allow the judges to be confirmed if Feinstein resigned.
In the three months that Feinstein was gone, the judges stalled.

Clinton questions Biden’s age
Curiously, while Clinton is perfectly content to allow 89-year-old Dianne Feinstein to continue working in the Senate, she also recently said that concerns over President Biden’s age (he’s nearly a decade younger) are legitimate.
“It’s a concern for everyone,” the former First Lady said. “We’ve had presidents who have fallen before who were much younger, and people haven’t had heart palpitations.”
“But his age is an issue, and people have every right to consider him.”
By 2030, Biden will be even younger than Feinstein is today.

Also in his interview with Time, Clinton referred to former President Donald Trump as more of a cult leader and downplayed his legitimacy as president.
“You have to think of him, not as a former president or even a presidential candidate, but rather as a cult leader,” she said. “He has a grip on a significant portion of the Republican Party.”
“He will most likely be the Republican nominee again… And will be defeated by Joe Biden again,” Clinton predicted.
As explored by The Political Insider earlier this weekClinton claimed Trump engaged in a “rigged game” to try to steal the 2020 election and predicted that a victory for him in 2024 would be the “end of democracy”.
