During the week ending March 4, the figure put forward for seasonally adjusted initial claims were 211,000, an increase of 21,000 from the unrevised level of 190,000 the previous week. The 4-week moving average was 197,000, an increase of 4,000 from the unrevised average of 193,000 the previous week.
