Democrats and their corporate media allies have consistently blame conservatives for the Covenant school shooting in Nashville on Monday.
They want to distract from the fact that the shooting was carried out by a mentally ill transgender terrorist so they can push for gun confiscation.
Former RINO congressman from Illinois, Adam Kinzinger, has decided to join in the smears against conservatives and once again act like the useful idiot of the left. He noticed a tweet from a liberal podcaster named Brian Tyler Cohen implying that Rep. George Santos (R-NY) and Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) contributed to the Nashville shooting because they were wearing AR-15 pins. (h/t Nervous)
Kinzinger got angry and replied, “The gun display and gun fetish really bother me.”
You can object to a ban, fine. But the gun display and gun fetish really bother me. https://t.co/raw1oXdtTB

But an anonymous Twitter user unearthed an old photo of Kinzinger that would make Ted Nugent beam with pride. In the photo, Kinzinger is literally holding a so-called “assault weapon” with one of his friends (Kinzinger is on the left).
Is it you? Actually, I’m not being sarcastic…
Is this your tweet, and is this you? pic.twitter.com/EScJKnoFBl

Lest the image be thought to be photoshopped, Kinzinger still has the tweet posted.

The tweet wasn’t just a photo op of Kinzinger to impress his conservative constituents. Kinzinger was a true champion of the 2nd Amendment, having once won an “A” rating from the National Rifle Association.
Then he reversed course and called the NRA a ‘squeaky scam’ just before exit Congress.
Kinzinger acknowledged he was in the photo. But Kinzinger got defensive and called the anonymous Twitter user a “clown” for reporting his about-face.
The former congressman also flaunted his military service in an attempt to show his superiority.
Yes it’s me. That was also many years ago and I have since moderated this question somewhat, as have millions of Americans. BUT if you don’t want to leave room for people to evolve on this issue, then you have to blame yourself. I’m a soldier too

Conservative Twitter users were less than impressed with Kinzinger’s lame flip-flop on guns and childish behavior.
How have you evolved on the issue, Adam?

Oh…so since you “moderate”, we have to be like you and “moderate”? You look like a MAGA over there, little guy.

It evolved into… irrelevance 🤗😂

The most likely reason Kinzinger sold out was that he got a job at the far-left CNN. The only Republicans who are welcomed there are the RINOS.
You didn’t evolve, you sold. For money and fame. You’re disgusting.

It “evolved”, around the same time CNN started paying the bills. What a coincidence! https://t.co/PKfSlOxi6A

But perhaps there is an additional reason for Kinzinger’s recent embrace of gun control. He kind of forgot how to properly own a gun.
Maybe advocating for gun control is his way of trying to stop him from hurting others and himself.
All of his anti-gun rhetoric makes perfect sense now. Improve! pic.twitter.com/NfF1K6J7kG

America is certainly safer without Kinzinger in Congress and without guns.
