Anderson Township, Ohio, police are investigating a shooting that injured a minor Monday night, and a home linked to Cincinnati Bengals running back Joe Mixon is part of the investigation.
Update: Hamilton County published the incident report and Joe Mixon is not named as a suspect.
“I think this case will probably be resolved by this time next week,” merlyn Shiverdecker, who is part of the Cincinnati RB legal team, told ESPN on Thursday.
Details are sparse, and most of what is currently available is snippets from the internet, so no one has any idea what happened. The only thing we have officially is a statement that WLWT Cincinnati received from the police.

“We can confirm that part of the crime scene involves a home linked to Bengals player Joe Mixon,” the sheriff’s office said.
Hamilton County Sheriff’s Deputies came into the house early Tuesday morning.
Law enforcement has not said if Mixon, 26, is connected in any way. The only person who said Mixon wasn’t involved was his sister, Shalonda, who also spoke with WLWT.
“Our detectives will continue to diligently review this evidence and conduct interviews,” a police statement said. “We hope to provide a more comprehensive survey update later this week.”
Mixon’s rep and the Bengals did not immediately respond to multiple media outlets’ requests for comment.
Joe’s family publicly defends him against the allegations related to firearms offenses is an ongoing trend as it was his mother who came to his side after he was accused of threatening a woman with a gun during the Bengals’ playoff game against the Buffalo Bills in January. This case was eventually dropped.
