“Rudy Giuliani canceled a Manhattan court hearing on Friday where a judge said the former New York City mayor would be thrown behind bars if he didn’t pay his ex more than $225,000 plus attorney fees. -wife early next month,” said the New York Post reports.
‘The ultimatum came during a hearing in the divorce case between Giuliani, 78, and ex-wife Judith Giuliani – who claimed in a lawsuit he had fallen behind on payments totaling 262 $000 owed under their 2019 divorce settlement.”
The judge said: “If the amount is not paid by that date, I will be forced – unfortunately because it is not something I want to do – I will be forced to remand the accused in custody .”
