The people have spoken, and Kari Lake appears to be the most popular candidate for GOP vice president in 2024 according to last week’s official Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC).
The former Arizona gubernatorial candidate won 20% of the vote from a field of 30 potential candidates listed. On the list, Lake passed former UN Ambassador Nikki Haley who received 10%, as well as popular Florida Governor Ron DeSantis who earned 14%.
Haley is currently running for the Republican presidential nomination, while DeSantis would also announce his own presidential campaign at any time. Both have seen their names float as likely vice-presidential candidates.
Former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, businessman and current presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy, Senator Ted Cruz and former Vice President Mike Pence are other big names who got a higher percentage. low of the straw vote.
Lake’s Twitter account responded to the favorable results by stating, “We are flattered, but unfortunately our legal team says the Constitution will not allow her to serve as Governor and Vice President at the same time. The statement refers to Lake’s ongoing legal battle challenging the results of the controversial 2022 gubernatorial race in Arizona, which she believes she legally won due to alleged voter fraud.
As for who the conservatives want to see leading the way in 2024, former President Donald Trump won big with 62% of the vote, with DeSantis winning 20%.

Don’t back down
As of last week, Lake’s legal battle over his lawsuit alleging election tampering in the 2022 gubernatorial election will now go to the Arizona Supreme Court.
Lake’s legal team filed the “Motion to Expedite” their case, stating that “prompt action to resolve these issues is necessary to protect the right of Arizona voters to free and fair elections.”
It wasn’t until February that the appeals court ruled that Arizona voters could vote at the time of the alleged tampering and that those votes were properly counted.
THE decision at the time, “Lake argues that the superior court erred in denying his claims by asserting equal protection and violations of due process. His arguments fail, however, because those allegations were expressly based on an allegation of official misconduct in the form of interference with on-site tabulators — the same alleged misconduct as in Lake’s claim for the printer/tabulator.
“Because these claims duplicated a claim that Lake unsuccessfully pursued at trial, the superior court did not err in dismissing them. For the foregoing reasons, we affirm the superior court’s decision confirming Hobb’s election as governor. We reject Hobbs’ request for an award of attorney’s fees on appeal because it offered no substantial basis for award,” the appeals court added.
“The evidence ultimately supports the conclusion that voters were able to vote, that the votes were counted correctly, and that there is no other basis for the election results.”
The moment Olivia and Chloe met @KariLake People always ask me how Kari is in person. I tell them it’s authentic as it should be! That’s one of the reasons her followers love her, and also one of the reasons the left hates her, because they’re all fake and she’s so real!… https://t.co/W6OA60hnDE pic.twitter.com/LHOR18Bozr

Senator Kari Lake?
Despite all indications she is sticking with her attempts to legally find a way to overturn the gubernatorial election results, Lake has also let it be known that she is also considering a possible run for the U.S. Senate.
According The Washington Post who spoke to a person close to Lake last week, she is looking at June this year to announce whether or not she will participate in the race.
Currently, she leads all potential GOP candidates for the position and also enjoys high approval ratings among Arizona Republicans.
In a interview last month, while teasing his potential campaign, Lake targeted incumbent Democratic Senator Kyrsten Sinema.
“She’s the furthest thing from an independent,” Lake said. “Someone somewhere said she did some brave things, well, she should do brave things here everyday. If you are lucky enough to be elected by the people, when you run in Washington, DC, you should do brave deeds every day.
Do you think Lake should run for the Senate, continue his legal battle, or flirt with the idea of courting the possibility of being the GOP nominee’s eventual vice-presidential pick? Let us know in the comments below.
