It’s amazing how upset liberal reporters really are about Trump’s town hall event on CNN.
It was almost two weeks ago and Christiane Amanpour is still complaining about it.
She even disparages the management of her own network about it.

CNN’s Christiane Amanpour joins the chorus to complain about Trump’s town hall and blast the boss
The “journalists” source of outrage continues to erupt over CNN’s audacity to air a town hall featuring the man most of them consider their nemesis, former President Donald J. Trump. RedState’s sister Toldjah told you about the meltdown of media reporter Oliver Darcy, “formerly the poodle-like sidekick of former CNN media room monitor Brian Stelter”, I brought you the conniption at Jake Tapper’s on-air as he nearly cried at the conclusion of the event, and Nick Arama wrote of perhaps the most pathetic sight of them all, anchor Anderson Cooper looking like a wretched dog in the rain as he told viewers that they “have every right to be outraged today and angry and never to watch this network again.”…
Not to be outdone, 40-year-old CNN veteran Christiane Amanpour and her ever-precise diction took to the stage at the Columbia School of Journalism to deliver a searing commencement speech on Wednesday lambasting Donald Trump, the decision to hold the City Hall, its horrific views, and yes, again, boss Chris Licht. She called the show an “earthquake” and made a jaw-dropping and dangerous claim that journalists should “be truthful, but not neutral”.
Here is part of what she said:
“My leadership thinks they did the right thing, a service to the American people. Some reports have written of important new thoughts and things we learned from Trump’s own mouth that night…Time could very well prove that Trump’s electroshock therapy to the world is pushing the undecided towards greater awareness,” Amanpour said.
“To me, of course, the fact that the American people voted against Trump and Trumpism three times — 2018, 2020, 2022 — says so much. We have done our duty. We told the story.

Christiane Amanpour tells Columbia University journalism graduates that CNN shouldn’t have given Trump the mayoralty.
She points to Joseph McCarthy’s blacklist as a template for removing it.
The students applaud.

Amanpour is a perfect example of the worst in our media.
She is first and foremost an activist, who believes that the media should determine public opinion on all political issues.
