Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene attempted to hold a press conference after encountering insurgents at the DC jail, but was interrupted by a man with a whistle, so she tried to have him arrested.

Greene tweeted:

We visited the DC jail today and held a press conference outside the jail after our visit. This man assaulted everyone there by hissing as loudly as he could in other people’s ears and tried several times to assault me and other members.

Greene claimed she was “assaulted” by a man whistling as she tried to hold a press conference to whitewash the 1/6 attack on the Capitol in a public place.

If Rep. Greene doesn’t want her propaganda sessions interrupted, she should hold them in her office on Capitol Hill. Whistling is not an arrestable offence. Assaulting police officers and breaking into the Capitol as part of a plot to overthrow the government merits arrest.

However, Greene would have had nothing but praise for the insurgents who Republicans have been described as treating like celebrities.

Republicans are so thin-skinned that they now call the police if anyone whistles in public as they try to spread lies and misinformation harmful to democracy.

Conservatives like to pretend the left are snowflakes, but is there a bigger snowflake outside of Mar-a-Lago than Marjorie Taylor Greene?

The whistleblower has done the country a service by not giving dangerous lies an unchallenged place.

America is not going to sit still while people like Marjorie Taylor Greene try to destroy democracy.
