President Trump’s attorneys have requested a meeting with U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland about the unfair treatment of Special Counsel Jack Smith.
In a letter sent to Garland, Trump’s attorneys said that unlike Joe Biden and his son Hunter, President Trump is being “treated unfairly.”
“We are representing Donald J. Trump, the 45th President of the United States, in the investigation currently being conducted by the Office of Special Counsel. Unlike President Biden, his son Hunter, and the Biden family, President Trump is being treated unfairly,” the letter reads, according to FoxNews. No President of the United States has ever in the history of our country been baselessly investigated in such an outrageous and unlawful manner. We request a meeting as soon as possible to discuss the continuing injustice perpetrated by your special advocate and his prosecutors. »
Merrick Garland announced he appointed special counsel Jack Smith to investigate whether Trump committed crimes shortly after Trump announced his 2024 presidential bid in November.
Jack Smith’s team has selectively leaked information about Trump investigations in an effort to derail his run for the White House in 2024.
Meanwhile, there are no leaks regarding the prosecutor’s special investigation into Joe Biden’s stolen classified documents.
Jack Smith also goes on a fishing expedition after Robert Mueller (Andrew Weissmann) fails to “get Trump” after a years-long investigation.
Special Prosecutor Jack Smith’s team of prosecutors subpoena records on Trump’s foreign business dealings since 2017, according to a New York Times leak.
The subpoenas were for information about the Trump Organization’s real estate licensing deals in China, Turkey, France, Saudi Arabia and other foreign countries, according to the NY Times.
According to The Times, Jack Smith subpoenaed Trump Org real estate licensing records to determine if there is a connection between Trump’s overseas business deals and presidential records he kept in Mar-a- The girlfriend.
Biden’s Justice Department has nothing on Trump, so they’ll try to frame him for “obstruction.”
Jack Smith is also investigating Trump’s fundraising efforts over “false allegations of voter fraud,” according to a leak in the Washington Post.
