“As he travels the country publicly supporting Republican candidates and conservative causes ahead of the midterm elections, former Vice President Mike Pence has also quietly huddled with donors and set up an operation policy that could serve as a springboard for a 2024 presidential campaign,” said the New York Times reports.
“Mr. Pence hosted a retreat with donors and allies at a Utah ski resort over three days late last month, organized by a nonprofit group he used to put highlight the causes that drive social conservatives.These priorities include restricting access to abortion, expanding the role of religion in public life, banning transgender athletes from competing in women’s sports, and the fight against corporate social and environmental initiatives.
