The cold war between Fox News and Trump suddenly got very heated as Steve Bannon said he wanted the Murdochs and Fox News gone.
Bannon told CPAC, “Murdoch, you felt that Trump will not be president. But we reckon you’re not going to have a network because we’re going to fight you every step of the way.
Later, Steve Bannon went there and cited the Dominion lawsuit as evidence that Fox doesn’t respect Trump and his supporters:

Bannon said Fox News has fear, loathing and contempt for Trump supporters, but Trumpers are the ones who can bring about change.
Fox News is not on CPAC. There is no Fox News stand. Fox is not broadcasting the rally, Fox News Radio is not broadcasting from CPAC. Most notably, there are no Fox News prime-time hosts at CPAC.
There was a sharp rift between Fox News and Trump. The network hasn’t had Trump since November. Trump hasn’t been on Fox and Friends or Hannity in months. Trump’s campaign needs free cable news coverage, and he’s not getting it from Fox.
Fox and Trump’s rift has been happening for a long time, and now it looks like the two sides are closing in on a full-scale war.
