The recruiting class of 2025 hasn’t quite taken off along the recruiting trail. Georgia leads the pack with four engagements in the current sophomore class, with Michigan And USL tied with two each.
THE new rankings should keep coaches and fans of these programs happy for now as they target more future commitments.

Not only is UGA topped the verbal commitments, but three of his goals moved up the rankings, with a fourth making it into the top 100. Micah Debose jumped in the rankings, with justus terry And Jadon Perlotte. He was not featured in the Rivals100 which came out in September, but Jabree Coleman jumped on the board at No. 73.
The Wolverines shocked recruiting diehards on Feb. 11 as they fired Manrez Walker out of the state of Georgia. Walker was not part of the original 100, but his play on the pitch in 2022 catapulted him into the four-star club. Another big early win for Michigan landed in cornerback Chris Ewald Jr. out of South Florida. Ewald remains one of the best players in the country and was ranked 33rd in the latest update.
One of the biggest movers on the big board was the catcher Ryan Williams. Carrying passes from another ’25 Bama target, KJ Lacey, Williams burned Alabama’s 6A defenses for 1,641 yards on 88 receptions with 24 touchdowns. Williams drops from 43rd nationally to No. 5.
Having Winston Watkins on set is a big boost for Colorado, and the impact goes beyond team rankings. Watkins was the 11th ranked player on the Rivals100 in the September release, and he jumped through the top 10 to No. 7 overall. Watkins is the highest-rated committed prospect for 2025, putting a first feather in the head coach’s hat Deion Sander and his staff as they make their mark in Boulder.
ohio stateThe Class of 2023 finished fourth in the Team Rivals recruiting rankings and the Class of 24 is ranked 10th with four commitments. Getting a jump in 2025, the Buckeyes have the second-highest rated player in the class who has verbally committed to Jontae Gilbert. Gilbert is an all-around defenseman from Douglas High School in Atlanta and is the highest-rated corner in the Southeast.
