Medigo Secures $2 Million in Series A Funding
Vietnamese online pharmacy Medigo has secured $2 million in a Series A funding round led by East Ventures, with participation from Pavilion Capital and Touchstone Partners.
According to a press release, the startup plans to use its new funds to bolster its services, including remote medical consultation, 24/7 rapid drug delivery, and home testing services, all of which form its ideal healthcare ecosystem.
Mental health startup Intellect gets backing from IHH Healthcare
Singapore-based mental health startup Intellect has received undisclosed funding from global healthcare provider IHH Healthcare for its regional expansion.
According to a press release, the investment will accelerate the startup’s growth across Asia. Since its launch in 2019, Intellect now serves more than three million users in more than 20 Asian countries.
As part of its investment promise, IHH Healthcare will also co-develop and customize digital mental health programs with Intellect for its patients, corporate clients and staff. It will offer Intellect’s mobile mental health solution across its entire network, starting with maternity patients at Gleneagles Hospital in Singapore. Access to the Intellect application will also be made available to corporate customers of IHH Singapore’s iXchange and later to IHH employees.
EMR Platform DocPlix Secures $600,000 in Pre-Series A Funding
Indian health tech startup DocPlix has raised Rs 5 crore ($600,000) in a pre-Series A funding round led by Eris Lifesciences.
The startup, which offers an EMR system for clinics and hospitals, will use its latest funds to scale up R&D and reach more adopters in western, southern and central India. It aims to have approximately 5,000 physicians using its EMR solution over the next 10 months; Currently, more than 2,000 physicians are using DocPlix nationwide.
