pitcher of the week
Andrew Lindsey, Tennessee
Andrew Lindsey set new career highs in innings pitched (8.1) and walks allowed (0) in a masterful performance against South Carolina in Game 1 of the road series. He allowed just three hits, marking the first time in an SEC game that a Tennessee starter went more than seven innings with just three hits allowed. Lindsey combined for his fourth shutout of the season, but it was the first time he had gone more than four innings without allowing a run.

Irish Ike, Auburn
Ike Irish helped lead the Tigers to a series sweep of Missouri and with three extra hits and four RBIs. He had his third straight game with the SEC in Game 1 of the series, back to back with Bryson Ware in the sixth inning. Irish also led in game-winning runs with a two-out, two-strike and two-RBI single in the five-run eighth inning to complete the Tigers’ comeback on Sunday. He tied an SEC season high with three hits in the Finals, including his 20th and 21st doubles of the year.
