The shooter was killed by a soldier from the anti-terrorist unit who was off duty.
Three men in their twenties were shot and injured in a shooting on Dizengoff Street in Tel Aviv this evening. The Magen David Adom reports that the condition of the three people, who were taken to Ichilov Hospital in Tel Aviv, ranges from moderate to critical.
The suspected shooter was killed by an off-duty Border Patrol counter-terrorism unit member who was at the scene. Border Police forces were dispatched to the scene.
Eran Nadler, a Magen David Adom motorcycle unit medical officer, said: “When I got to the scene, I saw two injured people lying on the sidewalk, one unconscious. I immediately started giving them medical care when a report was received. another person injured at one of the adjacent businesses. With large Magen David Adom forces quickly arriving, we gave the three injured life-saving medical attention and quickly evacuated them to hospital, one of ‘among them being in critical condition, one seriously injured, and one slightly injured.’
Due to the attack, organizers of the protest against the government’s judicial reform called on protesters to cease their activities and return home.
