Stars impress at Rivals Combine Series in Alabama

DOTHAN, Ala. – More than 850 prospects showed up at the Rivals Combine Series Saturday at Dothan High School to compete and for a comeback Sunday for the Izell Reese Soccer Camp. Prospects who showed up competed at a high level despite the cold weather and gusty winds, making the most of their chance for recognition.

Among the selections for Sunday’s camp were these five prospects who stood out during the day:

*****

Floyd made the trip to Dothan from Lilburn, Ga. to see how he tested and to try to increase his stock. The oddball prospect arrived with a great attitude and tested well, living up to his now 270-pound 6-foot-7 billing. Floyd is already recruited by programs such as state of florida, Ole Miss, Kentucky And Tennessee. He could still see his stock go up, and after the way he performed today, it’s easy to see why.

*****

Highland Home (Ala.) has been doing a good job churning out power-five talent lately and May seems like another prospect scouts should salivate over as he continues to build his game. May arrived with an attitude at work and a strong 6-foot-4, 210-pound frame, he has the ability to affect the game with his brilliance and aggression. May already holds offers from our Lady, Tennessee, Penn State and Troy, but you can expect if he builds on his second campaign that he’ll be a name to know for the Class of 2025.

*****

Adams is still very raw but he’s starting to generate buzz based on his size coming off the edge defensively. Adams tested well on Saturday and was invited to camp on Sunday where he will have a real opportunity to make a name for himself. Although precocious, Adams is definitely a prospect to watch in his class.

*****

Keenan certainly looks the part, standing tall at 6-foot-3, 215 pounds heading into his junior season. There where times when Kennan could have easily been mistaken for a defensive end, but he’s also physically impressive. Also, Kennan camped today, stayed late to get more work, and will camp tomorrow as well. Which says a lot about his character and work ethic; cooled took notice as he already got offers from Alabama State and marshal.

*****

Fulbright really surprised by his performance. He ran well, was fast and showed explosiveness. Fullbright won’t blow you away with his size, but he makes up for it with his playing abilities by picking up offers from Florida State, Georgia and Kentucky early. Fullbright spent time at Terrell (Texas) winning the Texas 4A Offensive Newcomer of the Year award as a rookie, but will have the opportunity to continue to build on that at Wayne County (Ga.) This upcoming season. It may not be known yet, but it’s definitely in the works.
