You may not use the PayPal Service for activities that… involve sending, posting or publishing any message, content or material that, in PayPal’s sole discretion, (a) is harmful, obscene, harassing or otherwise objectionable , (b) depict or appear to depict nudity, sexual activity or other intimate activity, (c) depict or promote the use of illegal drugs, (d) depict or promote violence, criminal activity, cruelty or self-harm (e) depict, promote or incite hatred or discrimination against protected groups or individuals or groups on the basis of protected characteristics (e.g. race, religion, gender or gender identity, sexual orientation, etc.) (f) poses a risk to the safety or well-being of users, (g) is fraudulent, promotes misinformation, or is illegal, (h) violates privacy, intellectual property rights or other rights of proprietary to any party, or (i) are otherwise unfit for publication.
You also cannot buy travelers checks (with PayPal)! For each violation, at PayPal’s discretion: “Violation of this Acceptable Use Policy constitutes a violation of PayPal’s Terms of Service and may subject you to damages, including liquidated damages of $2,500.00 USD per violation, which may be charged directly to your PayPal account(s) as set forth in the Terms of Service…”
