The war against Germany has just entered its hot phase

Conor: Swedish media are now reports that seismologists on Monday recorded explosions in the areas where the gas leaks occur.

Just yesterday I explained how the The United States wins its war against European industries and citizens.

This war, hidden behind the US-created Ukraine crisis, is designed to destroy Europe’s manufacturing advantage over the US. However, it is more likely to strengthen the economic position of China and other Asian economies.

I argued that Germany should open the Nord Stream II gas pipeline which can bring Russian natural gas to Germany without crossing the territory of other countries. It should also enable Siemens to repair faulty Nord Stream I compressors. This is in fact inevitable if German industry is to survive.

Others came to the same conclusion and decided to sabotage the pipes make their reopening impossible:

Three offshore lines in the Nord Stream gas pipeline network suffered “unprecedented” damage in one day, network operator Nord Stream AG said on Tuesday in what a German official called a “targeted attack”. Nord Stream 2 suffered a gas leak which was then followed by a pressure drop on Nord Stream 1.

The company also said it was impossible to estimate when the gas network’s operating capacity would be restored.

Simultaneous underwater damage to three pipelines is obviously no accident.

A German economics official told the Tagesspiegel: “We cannot imagine a scenario that is not a targeted attack.”

They added: “Everything speaks against a coincidence.”

Merchants of war among the British Telegraph claim without any proof or logic that Russia is the culprit:

Russian sabotage of gas supplies to Europe is feared after three offshore lines in the Nord Stream gas pipeline system suffered “unprecedented” damage in a single day.

…

Russia has withheld gas supplies from Europe as it seeks to retaliate against Western sanctions imposed for the illegal invasion of Ukraine. German newspapers reported sources claiming the leaks were the result of a “targeted attack”.

As noted in yesterday’s article, the claim that Russia is withholding gas from Europe is downright wrong:

Nord Stream II was created to make Germany independent of pipelines crossing Poland and Ukraine. Blocking it was the dumbest thing for Germany to do and that’s how Chancellor Scholz did it.

Over the following months, Poland blocked the Yamal gas pipeline which also brought Russian gas to Germany. Ukraine followed up by cutting two Russian pipelines. The main compressor stations of the Nord Stream I gas pipeline, which the German company Siemens had had built and which has the maintenance contract, have failed one after the other. The sanctions prohibit Siemens from repairing them.

It is not Russia that has blocked its gas and oil from European markets. It was the German, Polish and Ukrainian governments that did it.

Russia would actually be happy to sell more. Putin recently offered again to push as much Russian gas as possible via Nord Stream II to Germany: …

If Russia were to cut pipelines in the Baltic Sea, it would damage those who deliver Norwegian gas to Europe, not the pipelines it owns and which give it some leverage.

Russia therefore surely has no plausible interest in sabotaging the Nord Stream system. Others, however, have such interests. They probably want Germany to “stay in line” with their war to Decolonize Russia. The main potential players behind this are the US, UK, Ukrainian and Polish governments or a mix of these.

The geography and shallowness of the Baltic Sea seem to rule out that an American or British submarine caused any damage. Ukraine does not have access to the Baltic Sea. Poland, which had already tried to prevent or obstruct the construction of Nord Stream II, is the most likely actor behind this, although I doubt that it would dare to act alone.

Consider this from April 2021:

Developers of the Nord Stream 2 pipeline have accused foreign naval forces of “provocative” activities near construction works. The controversial pipeline is around 93% complete and two Russian pipelay vessels are stationed and working on the project in Danish waters.

Andrei Minin, the director of the Gazprom-run subsidiary of Nord Stream 2 AG, told TASS that “warships and foreign vessels showed higher activity” near the operation, and that “such actions are provocative and can damage gas pipelines”. He also accused Poland of deploying an M-28 military patrol plane to inspect the site.

“The Polish Navy does not carry out provocative operations and performs its statutory duties in accordance with international laws,” the Polish army’s central command responded in a message posted on social media. “M-28B Bryza aircraft regularly perform patrol flights in the Baltic Sea region.”

Poland strongly opposes the development of Nord Stream 2, which will offer Gazprom an alternative undersea route to supply natural gas to customers in Western Europe. At present, this gas must pass through onshore pipeline networks in Poland and Ukraine, which incurs valuable transit costs and provides both countries – which do not always have cordial relations with Russia – a some energy security.

Followed by this from May 2021:

Poland reacted angrily to President Joe Biden’s decision to lift US sanctions against Nord Stream II, warning that the move could threaten energy security in central and eastern Europe.

“The information is certainly not positive from a security point of view, because we know perfectly well that Nord Stream II is not just a commercial project – it is above all a geopolitical project,” said Piotr Muller, door – word of the Polish government.

February 7 Biden declared that he would decide if Nord Stream II opened:

After the two leaders appeared to avoid mentioning the pipeline, under repeated questioning from reporters at an afternoon press conference, Biden, standing next to the German Chancellor, said Nord Stream 2 does not would not move forward if Russia invaded Ukraine, in a warning to Russian President Vladimir Putin. potential economic consequences.

“If Russia invades, that means tanks or troops are crossing the border from Ukraine again, then there will be – there will be no more Nord Stream 2,” Biden said at the press conference. with Scholz, who didn’t go that far. like Biden, but insisted that the United States and Germany remain “absolutely united”.

February 27 Biden sanctioned the company that owns the pipeline.

Under its current right-wing leadership, Poland has shown itself to be extremely hostile to Germany. This month he even renewed is claim for war reparations from Germany, a problem that had been solved decades ago:

Poland’s top politician said on Thursday the government would seek the equivalent of some $1.3 trillion in reparations from Germany for the Nazis’ invasion and occupation of his country during World War II.

Jaroslaw Kaczynski, leader of the Law and Justice party, announced the huge claim when releasing a long-awaited report on the cost to the country of years of Nazi German occupation as it marks 83 years since the start of the Second World War.

…

The German Foreign Ministry said on Thursday that the government’s position remained “unchanged” as long as “the issue of reparations is settled”.

“A long time ago, in 1953, Poland waived further reparations and repeatedly confirmed this waiver,” the ministry said in an email response to a question from The Associated Press about the new report. Polish.

It is high time for the German government to wake up and recognize that a war has been launched against their country.

And no. It is not Russia that leads it.
