Both Fergal O’Brien and Harry Derham send racers to Ffos Las on a great Sunday card, live on Sky Sports Racing.
3.55 Ffos Las – Derham hopes to continue its good race
beyond redemption has been one of young coach Harry Derham’s successes in his career so far and could return in the feature film DragonBet supports Welsh Sport Handicap Chase (3:55).
He will have to take on the weight of Paul O’Brien after impressive success at Wincanton in January, and will face an interesting contender in Venetia Williams at Eceparti.
Robert Bevis coaches Unblinking who won last time out, while Get Prepared has recently run many big races for the Ben Pauling team.
4.30 Ffos Las – Fergal in pursuit of the quadruple
At Fergal O’Brien’s Accidental legend bid for a fourth straight win in the DragonBet Handicap Obstacle Online and On Course (4:30) under Paddy Brennan in just his eighth start.
Of the opponents in the 13-rider field, Moorland Rambler looks unexposed and won last time out at Exeter, so will have to be considered alongside William Ewart for Christian Williams’ in-form squad.
Jonjo O’Neill’s Copper Cove is another of note, with Jonjo Jr on the plate.
3.20 Ffos Las – The two winners of the last time face off
kingcormac and Lazy Sunday both won last time out, so it will take a decent performance to beat them as a pair in the DragonBet backs Welsh sports novice handicap hunt (3:20).
Richard Mitford-Slade’s Lazy Sunday arrives in search of a hat-trick after winning Exeter and Lingfield, while Kingcormac has managed to break up his young daughter at Hereford – he secures the services of Harry Cobden.
Of the others, Magnificent Ben is perhaps of note although he was a beaten favorite last time out and is yet to win in 11 attempts.
Watch Ffos Las live on Sky Sports Racing on Sunday 5th March.
