Since President Joe Biden’s fiery and brimstone speech in Pennsylvania, where he claimed that “MAGA Republicans” are an extremist “threat to democracy,” the administration has tried to perfect a delicate balancing act.
This tense performance has been between painting the image of a president willing to work with others and demonizing the half of the American public who voted for President Trump.
Former Atlanta mayor turned White House senior public engagement adviser Keisha Bottoms flexed her acrobatic rhetorical muscles to that end on MSNBC’s “The Sunday Show with Jonathan Capehart.” . The Biden administration is putting all its eggs in the Republican MAGA talking point basket, with all members reciting the same key phrases in hopes of inflaming the Democratic base and independent voters.
In an excerpt from the interview, Ms. Bottoms said the slogan “Republican Agenda MAGA” a total of four times in just over two minutes, clearly signaling that the administration’s primary and perhaps only strategy to the midterm approach is to paint a grassroots demographic as a threat to our very existence.

Agenda
Ms Bottoms explains to Mr Capehart that the “Republican MAGA agenda” is one that “disregards the rule of law”, which “has no respect for a woman’s right to choose” and which “wants to defund the FBI.” She goes on to say rather confidently:
“I think people will think about all these things when they go to the polls. Regardless of their party affiliation.

In a display of sheer journalistic mediocrity, Mr Capehart points to the obvious, saying it appears the President is taking a “hard line against Republicans at large”, inviting Ms Bottoms to move on to the second part of the communications from the White House. strategy: present yourself as the beacon of justice.
Ms Bottoms illustrates this when she says they think it is:
“…important for all of us who care about the United States of America to call what we see.”
And what does the Biden administration see? According to Ms. Bottoms:
“…an effort to disrupt our democracy.”

Destruction?
According to the White House, Ms Bottoms says the “MAGA Republicans” and “MAGA Republican agenda” are a “danger to our democracy, it’s a danger to our way of life.”
Although I disagreed with almost everything Ms. Bottoms had to say, there was one point on which I completely agree with her.
At the end of the interview, Ms. Bottoms says:
“It will always be important to call for any effort to destroy the United States of America.”
You knocked that line out of the park, Ms. Bottoms, so let’s go ahead and speak out against some of the efforts by the most extreme members of the Democratic Party to destroy our democracy and our way of life. But, since I am limited on the number of words, I will stick to one of its main points: the rule of law argument.
Let’s take a quick trip back to the summer of 2020, where we saw city after city burn and livelihoods destroyed in the name of racial and social justice to what an estimate now represents nearly $2 billion in property damage.
Not to mention the 25 people killed in the 2020 riots.
“The 2020 summer riots resulted in approximately 15 times more police injuries, 30 times more arrests, and estimated dollar damages up to 1,300 times more costly than the Capitol Riot,” said noted RealClearInvestigations in its analysis.” pic.twitter.com/qXVuUiAqKG

The summer of 2020 kicked off a wave of what has become one of the biggest concerns for many Americans: crime.
A danger to our way of life
During what many on the left are trying to sell the American people as a “peaceful protest” during the summer 2020 riots, Vice President Kamala Harris tweeted her support for the rioters, urging Americans:
“If you can, contribute now to the @MNFreedomFund to help pay bail for those protesting on the ground in Minnesota.”

This same fund recently helped free a convicted felon who subsequently killed a man he had had a “beef” with. This same individual had eight convictions for indecent exposure, one of which also included a weapons charge.
It could be argued that the Vice President cannot be held responsible for the occasional mistake where a truly dangerous person is released through this fund and ends the life of another. Fair enough.
However, should she be held responsible for supporting an organization that openly defend for what they call “mass decarceration”? I would say that’s a pretty big threat to our way of life in the United States.
But I guess that is just the way of life in our country now. According to a survey by the Major Cities Chief’s Association, global violent crime in the United States this year grew by 4.4%, with the following breakdowns:
- flights up 13%
- homicides up 50%
- aggravated assault up 36%
Pot, meet the kettle
It’s hard to take the Biden administration and its lackeys seriously when they claim there is a ‘Republican MAGA’ cult in the United States bent on destroying our democracy while vocal Democratic Party members sit in Congress and proud. Democratic Socialists.
It’s also hard to buy the ‘extremist MAGA’ line when the Democrats crawled all over each another to support an organization such as Black Lives Matter, led by trained marxists.
It’s the hypocrisy that I think will stick with many voters this year and for years to come when they’re told how ‘MAGA Republicans’ are making our country less safe while Democratic candidates like Mandela Barnes of the Wisconsin advocate for the removal of cash deposit and John Fetterman from Pennsylvania talks about clemency for violent criminals.
Some might try to tell me that the President has made it clear that he does not think everything Republicans are extremists to subvert our freedoms, citing his speech where he said:
“Not all Republicans, not even the majority of Republicans, are MAGA Republicans. Not all Republicans embrace their extreme ideology.
However, I would point them out two sentences later when Uncle Joe says:
“But there’s no doubt that the Republican Party today is dominated, led and bullied by Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans, and that’s a threat to this country.”
-Right-wing extremists
-Electoral denier
-Fascists
– White supremacists
-Climate change denier
-Racist
-Misogynist
-MAGA Republican
-The dregs of society
-Basket of Deplorables
Etc….
Their goal is to dehumanize. Dehumanize the opposition and atrocities occur. pic.twitter.com/u2iJM7aN73— Conservative mom (@conmomma) September 24, 2022
I’m sorry to tell you, Ms Bottoms, but I think people will think about their grocery billscrime in their communities and how the president called half the country extremists when they go to the polls.
And it’s high time we all called on him and your party in their efforts to destroy the United States of America.
Now is the time to support and share the sources you trust.
